John Hartsell lives in the San Francisco Bay Area where he has worked as a software engineer for many years. He has been a cat lover all his life, and has grown up with them. Currently, he is owned by two cats who are kind enough to let him live in the house that they share with another biped.
He enjoys taking photographs of cats when he travels throughout the world. He is currently working on a book whose subject he declines to disclose, but which, alas, will not feature any cats.
Jaime Glasser, DVM MS currently is living in Arizona and is owned by three cats and a dog. She is an editor at About.com for Pet Loss and Grief and Animal Hospice. Jaime is the former owner of Just Cats Veterinary Hospital and did research before becoming a Veterinarian in Molecular Genetics and Neurophysiology.
She is working on a book about her personal experiences with Animal Hospice: Saying Goodbye to Sparky and serves on the Board of Directors of The International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care. She has a young daughter and enjoys hiking, swimming, cycling, birding and travel.
